DONATIONS WISH LIST
We operate on volunteer energy to bring our performances, educational workshops and community outreach to rural communities, as well as to residents of prisons, senior centers and other settings where people may have limited access to such events.

Our funding comes from ticket sales, donations and grants. However, our friends and audiences are the primary source of support. They (hopefully including you) have seen us, they know who we are and they like what we do. Their financial support is essential for us to carry out our work and provides us with crucial encouragement to hit the road.

Any amount is valuable to us,
from  $5  to  $25,000  -  or more.

Please consider making a contribution to help us further our mission of strengthening communities through laughter and creativity.

The New Old Time Chautauqua is a 501(c)(3) tax exempt nonprofit organization.  All contributions are tax deductible and will be acknowledged with a letter for your tax files.

Community and individual donations are extremely important to us. If your employer offers an employee contribution-matching program, we would be happy to participate.

Donations may be sent by check or money order to:

New Old Time Chautauqua
PO Box 334
Port Townsend, WA 98368

WHERE DOES THE MONEY GO ?
$ 30 provides materials for one costume, used in parades and shows.
$ 50 covers postage to mail posters and PR materials to our sponsors, or outfits our first aid kit for the road.
$ 100 will supply juggling balls for our workshops - including small quantities to leave at each detention facility and other community locations.
$ 200 covers the cost of fabric, trim & notions for colorful banners we use in parades and to decorate stages or other performance areas.
$ 250 will buy one new tire for our bus.
$ 350 pays for nutritious food for 50 people for one day on the road.
$ 500 covers our telephone, Internet and most administrative costs for a year.
$ 1,000 pays for one year of liability and accident insurance.
$ 5,000 covers all expenses to bring a 3-day residency, with all the bells and whistles, to a rural or under-served community.
$20,000 An average Summer Tour.
This pays for transportation, food, camping, and program costs for 50 volunteers to travel 2,500 miles for 3 weeks. We visit 3 to 5 cities or towns - presenting shows, workshops, parades and community service events.
